File Storage

If you’re someone who creates or downloads a lot of images, you need somewhere to store them. Sometimes your machine will run out of space and you’ll need to look elsewhere for storage. Here are a few places and things to consider.

Physical Storage

The Seagate Expansion is Amazon’s best seller. Currently it is reasonably priced at $54.99 with Prime shipping available. The Seagate Expansion is available starting at 1TB all the way to 4TB. The set up is easy, just plug it right into your USB 2.0 or 3.0 port, it is compatible with both.

This PNY USB flash drive is available from 8GB at $6 all the way up to 128GB at $20, also available with Prime shipping. What makes this one of my favorite items is that it can attach right to a keyring, the cap doesn’t get lost, and it lasts for quite a while. I still own one that I bought three years ago and use almost daily.

Online Storage

Storing things online is an alternative to storing things on a physical device. The downside to this, is that you’ll need to be connected to the internet somehow in order to use whatever you’ve stored online.
